Cortex-M3 is a mid-range microcontroller architecture with clock speeds
over 100MHz and a powerful arithmetic logic unit (ALU). The FFT, a useful
tool in many DSP applications, utilizes these features enabling the ARM
Cortex-M3 to be a suitable replacement for dedicated DSP’s in some embedded
applications.
